Rush County ECDC

The mission of the Rush County Economic and Community Development Corporation is a public/private, full-service economic development organization. The ECDC can assist a business looking to locate in Rush County. The experienced team understands what companies need to stay competitive. The ECDC’s Web site illustrates why Rush County is the “Sweet Spot” for doing business in southeastern Indiana.

The ECDC bylaws establish a public/private partnership in the further development of an economic development strategy for Rush County. Board members financially participate, are committed to policy issues and assist in guiding the ECDC to achieve the following five strategic economic development goals:

Housing – improve the quality and availability of housing throughout Rush County

Workforce Development – improve the quality and availability of the workforce in Rush County

Education- improve the education level and opportunities of the residents of Rush County

Infrastructure – improve and upgrade the infrastructure network in Rush County

Business/Economic Development – encourage the expansion and new development of industry and business in Rush County.
